We also had a visit from our Malaysian friend Faizal who we met in Ushuaia.
One of our favourite hang outs this summer.
It was fun playing tourist in Vancouver when our friends from PEI were visiting. This included tea at the Shangra la, Strolls along the sea wall and to Granville Island.
We were luck enough to borrow Bryan’s bike to do some riding. The first trip was to head to Bellevue to connect up with Mario again and ride south as far as Coos bay Oregon with him on his way back to El salvador.
We needed our rain gear for the days ride in the rain.
twenty minutes before we needed to leave for the ferry Bryan discovered he ha d flat rear tire. After a quick fix we did make it to the ferry, but we were the last vehicle to get on.
The first day was just 229 Km to Marcin’s house.
Marcin hosted us all at his home on Saturday night. No visit to Bellevue is complete without a trip to total wine!
Checking out some local brews.
There was some time for some target practice. With Jay an RCMP pilot and Mario an expert marksman there was stiff competition.
Then we headed south past Mt. Rainer and Mt. St Helen’s to end up at the Colombia River at Carson after 322 Km.
Then we headed west and south to Coos Bay Oregon after another 418 km.
This is where we said goodbye to Mario who had 3 days to get to copper canyon in Mexico.
The last day we headed back from Coos Bay to Bremerton. That took 9 hours of riding of which 4 hours it was pouring. That was a very long 608 km.
Then we had a quick trip home of 266 km. This included the ferry from the Olympic Peninsula to Everett.
The second trip south was with our friends Joe and Laura. The first day we headed south again to take them on a similar route as last week, but we stopped in Hood River after 617 km.
The second day was to head north to Wenatchee after 377 km. We had a stop in Leavenworth where Octoberfest was in full swing.
The last day we continued north on the 97 and then west on the 20 and Winthrop, past El Diablo lake, and onto Vancouver after 489 km.

To our friends
3 Days, many miles, countless smiles
PRICELESS!!!!!
Thanks
Joe & Laura
