Ireland. Cliffs of Moher, Dublin, Giant’s Causway!
Today we are headed to Dublin with a detour to the “Cliffs of Moher” for about 360 km. The ferry across the river from Tarbert to Killrush saves the about 140 km drive around the inlet.

Ireland. Rock of Cashel, Ring of Kerry, and The Dingle!
From here we made for the Ferry dock for Irish Ferries. You check in at the kiosk and get a boarding card. The UK police check your passport before you board. To get on the ferry you actually cross a bridge like ramp over the loading cargo trucks.… Read the rest

We are on our way to Cardiff Wales today, but we made a stop in the famous city of Bath and to the Castle at Caerphilly on the way.

UK South..Castles and Hedgerows
From Plymouth we took the Tor point ferry and then rode south on the east coast to the end of the road and then up the west coast to Redruth. We had been told that bikes are free westbound on the ferry, but no that is eastbound.… Read the rest

Plymouth
The ferry leaves Roscoff France daily at 3 pm for the 6-8 hour crossing to Plymouth. By now it was of course raining again.
You arrive 45 min early and check in at the gate. Here they will ask for your booking reference and passport.… Read the rest

Madrid and up the coast of France
Here we parted from the Swede for a few days, as we needed to get back to Madrid today. This meant a 650 KM highway ride back to Spain.

Evora & Lisboa
Headed north we took the tiny, curvy small roads to end in Evora in 195 KM.
This is a 2000-year-old town that is a warren of narrow cobble streets inside the ancient walls. There is a restored Roman ruin on the hilltop.… Read the rest

Seville and to Portugal

Marbella part 2
Getting up early we drove back 80 KM to Marbella to meet up with Antonia and Natalia.

The west coast of Morocco & back to Spain
Headed north again we were on a mission now to get the ferry in 2 days time so that we can arrive back in Marbella on Sunday for our tire oil changes booked for Monday morning.
