Summer 2014 in Vancouver

There is nothing better than a summer in Vancouver. The views are stunning.

We stayed at Mark and Barbara’s for a few days before our apartment was available July 1 st. So of course we had to go out for lemon chicken.

The flowers are in full bloom.

The Pedersen’s threw a welcome home party for us complete with a DQ cake.

A visit to Vancouver is never complete without a visit to Granville Island.

We were very glad not to be riding on this typical vancouver day.

We borrowed Bryan’s bike for a ride up to the Chacko’s cottage on the Shuswap.

This summer we hosted some of the riders coming thru vancouver. First we had Mario, Nelson, and Steffen from El Salvador and Guatemala.

Next we had Steve from Scotland who is Steve and the Tiger riding the Americas. We had met him at the Moto Gp in Argentina and again in Cusco, Peru. He had some repairs done here with Daniel’s help. He was not really sure he appreciated the Jelly fish for dinner.

One of the main reasons we come home besides to make some money to fund the adventure is to see our families.
