The weather forecast is rather wet and so we have decided to hunker down in Leon. We got a great 3 bedroom apartment 200 m from the Cathedral. This gives us time for some catching up on posts. Orvar needs a new sprocket and chain and so we dropped off his bike today. Dan has a nail in his rear tire the last 2 days. It was not loosing air, but we have an underground garage and time to repair it here. We also have a washer and a rare luxury of a dryer…. So more clean clothes. The weather held off today and we had a bit of a walking tour so the city.
Orvar managed to arrange for the chain and its done, but we booked a third night here just in case. The tire is also holding air so yeah! It was sunny this morning and pouring on and off this afternoon, but we are thrilled as the rain that was forecast to last all week will be gone by tomorrow. We had time to visit the beautiful stained glass in the Leon Cathedral.
