Turning South…..Thru BC and Alberta
Daniel did a major bike cleaning and maintenance and changed the oil. We were then ready to head south from Whitehorse.

Dawson, the frontier town.
Dawson city did not disappoint! We loved this friendly gold rush town. The buildings are as colorfully painted as the characters that live here. This place is very biker friendly. We toured the engineering marvel the Dredge #4, panned for gold, and ate Canada Day hotdogs.… Read the rest

A Fish Tale
Now it it north to Whitehorse!

How is it possible that we have never been to northern BC and the Yukon! This land is massive and spectacular. We followed the Gold Rush trail thru 100 mile, Burns Lake, and Dease Lake. The highlight has been the ride into Stewart, BC with the valley dripping in green and dotted with dozens of waterfalls streaming down the steep sides.… Read the rest

BC Interior & Horizons Unlimited 2011
We were so excited to attend the Horizons Unlimited 2011 meeting in Nakusp! We also love a circle route so that is what we did. A Horizons meeting is a must do experience for anyone setting off overland by motorcycle.
Port Moody, BC to Westbank, BC = 363 km
Westbank to Nakusp, BC = 258 km
Nakusp to Kaslo then Revelstoke, BC = 292 km
including 100 offroad
Revelstoke to Sorrento, BC = 136 km
Sorrento to Pemberton, BC = 342 km
Pemberton to Port Moody = 342 km
