Aberfelty, Strontian, and Fort William

Today we are starting out on the Gino Rondelli tour of Scotland. The first day’s campsite is in the town of Aberfelty in 85 miles, but there is a lot to see on the way.

Edinburgh

We were very lucky to get a sunny day for our touring, because we woke to rain again. This did put a bit of a damper on the 153 mile ride north and west to Edinburgh.

Snowdonia and the Lake District

We made it back to Douglas at 1330 and drove right up to the check in booth. There were about 10 other bikes there for the fast ferry (3 hours) to Liverpool. There is no passport control or customs. Again you ride on and the staff secure the bikes.… Read the rest

Isle of Man

From The north coast of the Isle we continued on the Causway Coastal route the 77-Miles to Belfast. We saw tons of bikes that had been at the “north-west” race nearby.
