Getting up early we drove back 80 KM to Marbella to meet up with Antonia and Natalia.
They had just bought a 1200 Gs yesterday and were keen to go for a ride. We headed up in the hills again to Grazalema this is where we were supposed to end up the last time we were up here and after Rhonda, but I made a wrong turn. It is perched on the hilltop.
Then we headed further up the hills to Gaucin and we visited the castle on the hill. The narrow streets are like a rabbit warren.
From here we headed back to the beach for lunch of traditional Spanish food including shrimps, calamari, and Paella with squid ink.
Poor Orvar has been coughing for weeks so today it was 6 hours at the hospital for him to get the same answer I gave him, and the same drugs! But he did get a chest X-ray that was normal so at least there is no pneumonia.
Today we headed back to the Motofusion shop with the tires we had ordered and had delivered to Antonio’s place. We also had oil changes and my side stand fixed!
This afternoon we drove over to Estepona about 30 km south.
Then we rode over for lunch on the beach. While we were eating a police officer came over to look at our bikes, that we had parked on the sidewalk and took some photos. Antonia ran over to talk to him in case there was a problem, but he was just interested in our bikes. He had called a few of his colleagues who also showed up.
This evening we had another fantastic meal prepared by Antonio and Natalia. We were sad to leave their lovely home.
