North to Iguazu falls
Leaving Bella Vista we were escorted to Gualeguaychu in 223 km by Pia and Ramiro. This is a nice town on the river that in February is THE spot for Carnival in Argentina.

Buenos Aires and Palermo
After a week of partying in Salvador we head south again to BA.
The bikes finally see the light after 4 months in Martin’s garage.

Buenos Aires
Ramiro and Pia live on “ the Delta” and their house is only accessable by water. They took us for a tour on the river and canal system.

Headed south and finally to Buenos Aires

South for the flight home!
Now its time to head back south to get a flight home from BA June 19. What we found out about the still continuing road blockade is that they are protesting a lack of public transportation. The blockade started ironically on the same day that the new 250 million dollar cable car system from this area El Alto to the center opened.… Read the rest

The border to Bolivia and getting to Uyuni!
Today we are in for a big day with crossing the border to Bolivia (country number 16) and 210 km of dirt to Uyuni.

North to the border of Bolivia
Today we are headed to the border of Bolivia. The border town of Yavi is 391 km north from Salta.

The road north from here is 189 km to Salta is amazing on the RN 68.
It looks a lot like Utah with the red rocks.
