Rugen Germany and Berlin East and West
Setting out south from Copenhagen we had a great day at 24 degrees and slightly cloudy. There was almost no wind. We made the ferry at Gedser in good time after 155 km.

The Baltic Countries
What a whirlwind trip we had and now we are back to the ferry for the overnight crossing. We arrived to sunny weather in Helsinki and returned to the camping for another night. We had booked passage on the ferry to Estonia for the next afternoon.… Read the rest

Finland
Today we leave Norway after 3 weeks of mostly ok weather. However, it rained almost all day. We made for the border of Finland in 55 Km. The roads here are very straight and all you see are trees, lakes, and reindeer.… Read the rest

Nordkapp and the end of the road in Kirkenes, Norway
The ride today out of Hammerfest is a backtrack the 55 km to the E6 and then go east 97 Km to the E 69 and then north 128 KM to the North Cape.

Lofoten Islands and Hammerfest “the most northern city in the world”
Getting up early from the campground we drove the 28 km to the ferry dock at Bodo (Buddha) to get there at 830 for the 10 sailing, as we did not have a reservation. There was no worry however since they was only 3 bikes to board.… Read the rest
